Welcome!
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck or going through a life transition, I am here to offer you help and hope. We will work together to find the answers you are seeking.
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples and families navigate life's challenges and discover their path to healing. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of the human experience.
In our work together, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where you are encouraged to explore your thoughts, emotions and somatic feelings openly. My goal is to support you in developing insight, building coping strategies, and fostering personal growth.
I earned my Masters Degree in Psychology in 2010 and was foundationally trained in Narrative Therapy. I am a certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trauma therapist. I also use Attachment Therapy, Internal Family Systems and CBT to guide my work with clients. I also find it helpful to sprinkle in some life coaching when a client is looking for more concrete guidance.
Additionally, I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest research and practices in the field of psychotherapy. I love to share anything I learn and often send clients podcasts, books or other resources I believe will be helpful for them.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy reading, podcasts, hiking, pickleball, traveling, and learning new things. All of which help me stay grounded and balanced. I have two adult daughters that have taught me more than I have ever taught them.
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you on your path to wellness.
